Jyotsna Bhamidipati is a visual storyteller with a deep love for capturing the beauty of life through travel, food & connection. Using photography as a medium to celebrate culture, savor the richness of food we share as a community, and exploring the transformative power of travel; she often shares her work through her lens to tell stories with authenticity and a touch of emotion.
She’s a member of Diversify photo, American Photographic Artists - San Diego chapter & Luupe while also exhibits at various shows throughout the year for her personal projects. She is currently working on a personal project on “women and their recipes surrounding tradition and nostalgia” and is accepting collaborations and partnerships!
Let’s collaborate with your brand in San Diego, California (or anywhere, as I love to travel!) to create something meaningful, to express your vision in a creative way and connect with the people who surround us everyday.
My work Ethos
My ethos is based on the Japanese concept of “Ikigai” - balancing doing what I love (passion for community/collaboration), the need for it (the emotion behind the why), what the world needs (connection and stories that are relatable) and what I can be paid for (helping brands be successful and creating visuals that sell).
The world does not need just new images without a meaning - it needs stories that inspire empathy, celebrate identity, and preserve culture.
My Ikigai is using photography to tell human-centered stories about culture, food, and travel—creating authentic beautiful and engaging visuals that inspire connection and belonging while helping brands share their purpose.” Let’s chat how I can help your brand be successful in it’s next campaign or help tell that story os a rising entrepreneur through an editorial.
